Skyline Tracker is a global encyclopedia of skyscrapers and city skylines. It catalogues tall buildings — completed, under construction, approved, proposed, on hold and cancelled — from more than thirty cities across six continents, recording height in metres and feet, floor counts, architect, developer, owner, completion dates, construction status, photography and geographic coordinates.
It is built for architecture enthusiasts, urbanists, students and researchers, city planners, real-estate and construction professionals, and anyone curious about how the world's skylines are changing. Whether you are checking the tallest building in a city you are visiting or following a tower that has not broken ground yet, the goal is the same: one clear, well-sourced place to look.
Figures are compiled from public planning documents, developer and architect publications, and reputable industry reporting, with sources listed on each building record. Community rankings reflect user votes rather than objective measurements, and are labelled as such wherever they appear.
Skyline Tracker is built and maintained by a small independent team of skyline enthusiasts and data editors who verify, correct and expand the catalogue continuously. If a record is wrong or missing, we would like to hear about it.
